Lake Forest Park-Senior Living in Ft. Pierce was a pleasant place, but not very interesting. The rooms were nice, and they had a lot of windows. They allow pets, and there was a barking dog. The problem with them is that they didn't seem to have many amenities or activities. They have bingo, and they have a movie, but that's on a slightly bigger than average TV screen, so that wasn't very impressive. They have a beauty salon and that's all I'm aware of. The staff was very pleasant and professional. I didn't meet many of the residents. There seemed to be very low energy. There wasn't much going on. The building was pleasant enough.

Lake Forest Park is newer and bigger, but I didn't care much for their memory care. The memory care is separate from their assisted living, and the memory care is a very small section, and it seems a little cramped to me. The staff member who had walked me through the tour was nice. The facility was nice. It needed some repairs and minor floor work done, but it was OK. On the assisted living side of it, the rooms were very nice. They have a separate little sitting area, and then a separate area for your bed. Whereas in the memory care, it's just one one bedroom. They showed me a menu that had different things throughout the day.

My mother is moving into Lake Forest Park. I like the location; it is closer to family. I like the staff we met; they seemed very friendly. I like that her doctors come there, and I like the amenities. As far as location, amenities, and the staff whom I met, they seemed very nice, but I mostly liked the convenience of having her doctors come to her, so she doesn't even have to go to them. They're very kind. The facility was very clean too.

I like Lake Forest Park. The community is very nice. I like the way it's laid out. They provide meals, care with medication, laundry and light housekeeping. All of that would be something that my sister would need. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating for me. They really tried to be as helpful as much as possible. The assisted living side had studio and a small apartment which would be one-bedroom and a little living room with the bathroom. They have a clubhouse on the calendar, so they seem like they do a lot of activities for the residents. They are a gated community. If they need to go to a doctor appointment, they have a van. You can set up your appointment with them, and they would take you to doctor appointments and stuff like that. I think it would be well suited for someone looking if they can afford it. It's really nice.

Lake Forest Park seemed very nice. The staff was very nice. She was able to show me the dining room and a room that was vacant. Some were studios. Some were one-bedrooms, and some were two-bedrooms. They did have an activities schedule. They had a table set up in the lobby. They had puzzles, and people just kind of worked on it at their leisure. The staff I came in contact with was very nice.

We toured Lake Forest Park for my mother-in-law, and it was a very nice. I was only able to talk to one gentleman, and he friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and updated. We saw one room, and it was very nice. It was close to her family, and it is near a hospital (probably within a mile). We saw a porch, and that was it.

What I liked best about Lake Forest Park was the attitude. We were given a tour by Chris, and he did a beautiful job. He was very welcoming and obviously was interested, because I had several callbacks from him wanting to know if we had any questions. The place felt very homey, too, so they certainly offer the most personal and best care. It's also very important to my husband that there is a gym, and I wanted an activity calendar; all of that was available. The room was adequate and better than most, the dining room was very nice, and their food selections were varied and interesting. The activities were quite organized, and they had multiple offerings during the week, as well as transportation to shopping.

Lake Forest Park was well maintained and had professional staff. It had a very warm feeling and felt like home. They had music, stretching, and chair aerobics. The dining area was very intimate, very clean, and had a very friendly staff.

I looked at Lake Forest Park. I wasn't able to go into the rooms, but they gave me a tour through the hallway -- through one wing and the other side -- so that's about it. The staff who assisted me during the tour was good. He was very attentive and very informative. To me, the facility was OK. It isn't the top of the line, and it's older, so it has been there for a while. Everything isn't brand new, but it's well kept and clean. It's not as big as the other facility, and it's a little bit on the dark side.

Lake Forest Park is just beautiful. I like the way they run the place. It's a good layout and a good location. They have friendly staff. They did not have Medicare. It's well organized and very clean. They seemed to have a lot of good workers there. I walked through while they were dining and the food smelled fabulous. It looked really good, but I didn't taste it. Their dining area was well lit, open, airy, and inviting. Their rooms were spacious. I liked that this community was wooded. The staff members were very helpful. Actually, I had a client in there. I had some somebody in there and they took really good care of him. The staff was really good.

Everything at Lake Forest Park was great. The people there are nice, the food was great, and everything was perfect. They have a weekly menu that they put out, and if you don't want the special for the week, they have a menu that they have all the time that they can choose from. The dining room had white tablecloths and they had silverware set out like in a very nice formal setting. The place was clean and there was no smell, no odors whatsoever.

The whole building is beautiful and well kept (they have been repainting and it looks beautiful). The grounds are attractive with flowering bushes and flowers. The rooms are bright and sunny with enough room to feel like home. The staff (including the Executive Director) is very pleasant, caring and communicative. This is important as I live out of state and ask for updates periodically. My relative loves all the activities. They have bingo, movies, a library, live music. Each time I have visited, one of these activities has been going on. She loves it.

Lake Forest Park is a loving community; I have family members there. They have excellent activities for the assisted living, with seven or eight activities a day to keep them busy. Lots of groups come in and do things with them. There are bus rides to sight-see and go to stores and churches. Once or twice a week, doctors come in and be your physician. They're excellent, and I highly recommend them. The food is good.

My mother has been in Legacy Ct. (Memory care) since 1/2015. Our experience is a little different than some. My mom had been preyed on by a friend and he had her change all of her papers and then stole her money. As her only child I had been dealing with this for a year when I went to visit Lake Forest Park. I cannot advocate more FOR this facility. They have been so helpful, patient and kind during these few years. I dont live locally, but I trust them with my mothers care and safety. I have never been to visit and been concerned about staff, safety, or cleanliness of facility, My husband children & I have every faith in Lake Forest Park/Legacy Ct. and we cant thank them enough for taking good care of our loved one.

I cannot say enough positive comments about Lake Forest Park. It is a beautiful facility with great food and friendly caring staff. When my dad arrived there he was in bad shape. After just a few months he has stabilized mentally and physically. He is moving this week into the independent living villa and is so thrilled. I never dreamed he could be so healthy.

My mother enjoyed the independent part of Lake Forrest Park for 13 years. She made friends, & enjoyed the activities tremendously. As her health and mobility declined, she made the difficult choice to move to the assisted living building. She was welcomed enthusiastically by staff & other occupants. The Staff takes terrific care of her, meets her needs, encourages her independence and is respectful of her wishes. They allow me to drop off her reason for living, her Maltese, Bear, every day for a few hours. I am always greeted with a smile by nursing, maintenance and front desk staff. Our family feels included and respected in her daily life. We are so appreciative of Lake Forest Park for taking wonderful care of Nana.

I had friends that lived at Lake Forest for a while, and their apartments were very nice. I have known people that have gone in there, and they have liked it. I can't say anything negative about it. They don't have nursing, and that's what I didn't care about it. It's seems like an active and very nice place.

Right now my wife is in Lake Forest Park. The place is clean, and the staff is excellent. They are a caring bunch, they are aware of the residents, and I have absolutely zero bad to say about it. The best thing that stood out to me was the care that they took for the residents.

Lake Forest Park was very nice. I think it's a little homier, but they don't administer insulin which my husband is on. It is new and up dated. I only met the girl that was showing me around, and she was very nice. I saw one room, and it was a very nice size with a little kitchenette and enough space for one person.

I was impressed with Lake Forest, and the rooms were clean and very nice. The staff was pleasant and caring. The care was fine, but we just can't afford it. The location was very good, as well as the security at the back portion.

Lake Forest Park is acceptable. We could live with something like that, but we just couldn't afford it. It were impressive and seemed like a nice place to live. We only talked the lady who showed us around. The room was big enough, but I wouldn't call it spacious. It was not ideal.

Lake Forest Park was very nice, but it's just a little more than I can afford. It was very clean, which impressed me. It had separate little bungalows right next to one another and a garage attached, which was very nice.

This building is beautiful, from the moment you walk in the airy sheer curtains the décor, the music, the atmosphere is wonderful. We met a very cute young girl who gave a great tour of the building. The entire management team made it a point to introduce themselves, the head young lady was so warm and eased our concerns. We were shocked that fort pierce had anything as nice as this. When we left everyone wished us well. The folks living there look healthy. It didn't smell either.

I visited Lake Forest Park. It only offered two-room units, but they were very small. Also, we wouldn't have been allowed to keep our kitty cats. The room was very small. It was clean, but not spacious. They did have some activities. They offered bingo and movie nights.

I had to take my parents out of here when they became too sick in the independent care area, they said they had no room in the assisted living and were annoyed that I begged them to at least bring meals to my Dad. They told me they did and they didn't. It's an overpriced condo with very little help available. My Dad broke his hip twice here, the second time when I couldn't get him on the phone I had to call my nephew who lived nearby to go check on him and indeed he was lying on the floor with his hip broken the second time.

Lake Forest Park is in a good location in the sense that it is not very far from a regional medical center. They have both independent and assisted living. They have a calendar of activities and events as well as trips. They have a couple of different rooms with full kitchenette, a bathroom and a bed and sitting area. They have several lounges, activity room, and a scheduled outside trips. I only interacted with two or three staff but they were friendly. From my point of view, I think you're having a good value for what they offer. They offered many of the same amenities as some of the "premiere" places but without the premiere price.

I like the apartments that they have at Lake Forest Park. They were nice and spacious. They were put together nicely. They have high ceilings and nice little patios. They were not very big and not very small too. Outside of that, there was nothing else that interests me. The lady was very nice, but she didn't give me a full tour. They had an event where they said we go over to the cafeteria where they serve lunch, and when I went there, it was so crowded. There wasn't even a table for me to sit down, and that was disappointing as well.

I like the presentation of Lake Forest Park during my visit. I also like the fact that the residents are very nice. I was able to meet a couple of the residents and see their apartments, and it was very nice. They all seemed to be very congenial and happy. It has a very nice atmosphere. I saw their calendar of activities as they pointed that out to me, and they seemed to have plenty.

I toured this facility. The outside was pretty, well maintained with nice flowers, During our tour, we noticed that the furniture was dated, the paint color was truly ugly down the halls and the carpet is awful. The staff that we encountered were friendly and the room, while small, appropriate for my grandmother. For the price quoted, we felt that the facility over all was over priced. We would consider it for our grams if it looked nicer on the inside.

I liked very much the layout of the rooms in Lake Forest Park. It was 15 minutes from my house. They took a while with me; they sat down and spoke with me. The nurse was forthcoming. The thing not so appealing was that I found some residents sitting out who were not engaged with each other at all. The hallways were a little bit narrow. They have a later breakfast, which I thought was appealing to my mom.

Lake Forest Park was lovely. It was really wonderful, and they were very helpful. I really like the facility. The people working there were lovely. I got to see the whole place, and they were lovely. I thought they were small, but it would have been fine for my mother by herself. I saw the dining facility, and it looked like the food is great, but I did not eat there. It was very clean. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Lake Forest Park looks very nice. It is like a whole bunch of dorm rooms attached inside a house. It is like a sorority house. I did check the rooms, and all the things we have seen have been like that. It is not a negative for that place, but it has been that way. One thing we did see is called the efficiency room, and we would not put my father in it because we thought it was too small. The one room apartment style is a little bit better, but it would have been a large downsize for my father. They have a lot of activities, but I don't know if my father would join in. They have things on different days every day. They have grocery shopping on certain days and going to different places on other days. They have cooking things and crafts things which he would not have done. I couldn't really find anything I thought he would actually do. I did saw the dining facility, and it was fine.

The visit at Lake Forest Park was OK. People were nice, and it was OK. It seemed a little crowded for me. I didn't look at the individual rooms, and I was just in the main area. It is typical, and I wasn't overly impressed. I thought it's just typical of what I have seen else in other cities. I was more impressed with the staff. They were very nice, very cordial, and very helpful. As for activities, I didn't go into any details with them about that, and it was just more of scoping it out. I think it was the staff that stood out here. I'd say they can look into it, but I don't know if I'd say that is the one they can go into.

Lake Forest Park was very similar to the other place I visited. I had no complaints with the people I talked to. The only thing if I was going to consider it, it was too far away from my house, and I didn't want to drive that far. That's the only problem I had with them. There was nothing wrong with the people or the place at all. It was just the fact that I was too far from my house. It looked fine to me, and I didn't smell any odor or anything. Everything looked clean and neat.

Lake Forest Park was very nice. Instead of rooms, they had villas outside; you got your own garage, a porch in the front, and a screened-in room in the back. It was like a home, and everything was very nice there. If you needed help like later on, you could move in to the big house and have a room in there. To me, it would be the closest place to home. My friend has a dog, and pets are allowed. She could walk the dog. The people all looked fine and happy.

I am presently living in Lake Forest Park. I chose it because it is very close to where I live and it meets all of my needs. Location is important because friends and family can come and visit me. The thing that is the best about it is that it is new, clean, and I cannot find anything wrong about it. The staff is very friendly, considerate, and professional. The dining room is excellent and it is like being in a cruise ship. They have a wonderful menu. The food is excellent. I feel like I am on a vacation. There are different kinds of rooms and they are very nice. I am in a little apartment that is 380 square feet. We have activities like playing games to increase our memory, they have people come in for music, there are all kinds of parties, and they keep us quite busy socially.

My mom is in Lake Forest Park. When you walk in there, is a nice foyer and a general sitting area with couches and all kinds of little things. It is clean. They clean it daily and they clean my mom's and the other residents' rooms. It is great. She has one big efficiency apartment. One area is her bed and the other area is her living room with her personal things. Then, she also has a bathroom. They keep her busy and I have no worries because if anything happens to her, they call me. I like it and she likes it, which is the important thing. They have activities like arts and crafts. They have bingo, card games, ice cream socials, happy hour every Friday and they have somebody who comes by and plays music. Then, they have beverages and snacks. For those who want to go, they sign up and they take them out of the community for dinner. They take them to the grocery on one day, the drug store on the other and department store on another day. They take them to church on Sunday. They are pretty flexible because she didn't like the church that they go to, and they take her to the church that she likes. I will definitely recommend Lake Forest Park to anyone if they need to have their parents cared for.

My grandmother has lived at Lake Forest Park and loves it! She has been there 3 years and is well cared for and has many friends. We noticed small ants in the kitchen area and reported it. Within 15 minutes the maintenance director came in and the next day the pest contr came. We haven't seen any ants since. We eat with her every other Sunday and the food is great. Dining staff is very efficient and friendly. I know there is new management and we have seem several positive changes in decor recently. We have recommended Lake Forest Park to several of our friends.

I like Lake Forest Park. They have the villas that are attached -- three of them together. The villa has two bedrooms, a living room, a garage, and a dining room. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet. The rooms were a nice size. The kitchen looked big, too. Overall, the villas were very nice and very roomy and they even have a garage in the front entrance -- we thought that would be good. It was expensive, though. Food was good. We went there for a lunch and it was very nice. I would go to Lake Forest Park before I go anywhere else. The villas were very nice; I wouldn't hesitate to go there. That's probably where I will go.

Lake Forest Park was very nice. They were very good with my sister; they explained things. They gave her a lot of different options. I thought it would be the best thing for her because it would have been a lot closer to me. I would have been able to help her more. They had a swimming pool, activities, and different things for her. They would have kept her well occupied. I wouldn't have had to worry about her; it has security. They showed us their kitchen and their eat-in places. The only thing is the front parking, where when you have people that are interested trying to find a place to park. Other than that, there wasn't any problem. The manager was very good. Both of the young ladies that we talked to were very good. They had the answers to all the questions, and they were very well prepared for the different situations.

My dad is a current resident of Lake Forest Park. We moved him there the beginning of November. He is all situated and he's quite comfortable where he is. They have a nice clean facility. I like that it's conveniently located and not far from me, so it makes it easier to see him more regularly. They seem to be taking care of him. He is well fed. That's what he was looking for and so that's what we found for him. The staff seems to be competent. They're there when my dad needs them. They take them shopping and they take them to church on Sundays. They do the standard things. My dad loves to play pool and the pool table is in their back facility. But they don't take him there as often as I think they should. I wish they would take him there a little bit more often. They must have a half dozen golf carts to take people around, but I don't think he gets out there as much. I wish they would be a little bit more active with him. I think they're doing a pretty good job but I wish they could be a little bit more detailed when it comes to their personal service. I would see a lot of people sitting in the front lobby area and they're always the same people. It just like they sit there, there is nothing going on and they are not doing anything. Perhaps they need a little bit more employees to keep people busy and to keep people doing things.

I went to Lake Forest Park for a visit and I thought the place was great. I went to one of their activities. I was not really thrilled with the food. The other drawback I had there was the age of the community because I'm younger and there was one couple there that was even close to my age. I want to socialize and it just didn't work out for me. It would have been great for my mother but I'm looking for a place that I can go into as an independent living and move on as I get older.

I found a place for my mother-in-law at Lake Forest Park. I chose this facility because of its accommodation and the staff was very welcoming and kind. They made a very good first impression. I've had a couple of meals there and the food is good and very well presented. They have many choices. The place is very well kept. They have an activity director for both the independent and the assisted living residents and they looked like they really want to take care of their people there.

Lake Forest Park was only serving two meals a day, and at one point, had been serving only one meal a day. This was during COVID, and so we were concerned about that. The girl that toured us only took us to this villa, and then to the recreation center, which was well located. There were several ponds around the units, which were nice too. We liked the town of Fort Pierce. It's a very nice and friendly small town. There are lots of things nearby that you could get to, like restaurants within four or five miles. One thing I also liked about the place was it had a gate that closed cars off from coming in at night.

Lake Forest Park was a great place. I liked their living quarters, they're like villas. I actually fell in love with it. I liked everything about it. You have your own place, you even have a room for guests. They have a theater, a library, and they have calendars everywhere for people to know what's going on. They have a sewing group, card playing group, and a happy hour. They provide three meals for the assisted, two meals for the independent, they also provide power, water, trash, that sort of service; it's all included in there. I did not try the food. The staff was very professional, very outgoing. They know their business, they know how to present it to you, and you will want to go into the facility if you have the means, which is not all that expensive compared to everybody else. In my mother's case, it is expensive for her.

Lake Forest Park's independent living just seemed like it was much older and kind of dirty. It's nothing like the one we chose for my mother. Everything about it was different; it was like going from the Ritz Carlton to a Motel Six. The room we saw was not nearly as nice, probably half the size, and definitely had a much older, dirtier feel to it. I knew as soon as I walked in that it wasn't going to be a good fit for my mom. It was just very dated and kind of dirty. I remember there were a lot of issues with the floor. I don't remember specifically what, but it was like repair work or something.

My father is in Lake Forest Park. It's not even been a week that he's been living in there, but it seems nice. He's liking it. It's very clean. They repainted the whole thing when we got in there. It's very nice and well kept. I don't really know the staff. The only staff I met was all right, and I met the maintenance man very briefly; he seemed nice. I know they have a clubhouse, and they have a pool in it. They have a bus that shuttles everybody around to the barbershop or to their doctors. They have an activity night where they drop all the seniors off at a restaurant, and they leave them alone there for a couple hours, which is pretty cool. The facility is great.

I did a live tour at Lake Forest Park; it was a very nice facility. They have absolutely gorgeous independent living arrangements. I can't imagine anything better than what they have, and I like the independent living facilities. The facility itself is very nice, very well laid out, very open, and very roomy. The assisted living rooms are small but adequate. I saw the entire facility like the dining room, game rooms, and card rooms. Obviously, a lot of those either have been modified or have been temporarily closed out because of Covid, but there's adequate space there for multiple activities. It's an impressive community and the facilities are most adequate. The staff members who accommodated me were very gracious, knowledgeable, and polite.

I'm very impressed with Lake Forest Park. It seemed to be very clean, the people seemed to be very caring, but the only concern we have since my son has been there is that they do not respond very quickly when he has an issue with maintenance, and that could be because they're understaffed. It's a beautiful place, right now, he's in independent living, and that's not working, so he's going to be moving to assisted living, as soon as they have an opening. I've eaten with him quite a few times already, and I have no complaints. They have a clubhouse, there are special dinners and lunches that he has gone to, and they have cards and bingo, but he has not gone to any of that.

The cottages at Lake Forest were fine, and the layout was nice. It was reasonably priced. However, It did not suit our needs in as far as where we wanted to be.

We found Lake Forest for my cousin, and I would give it an excellent review. Everything is fine, and I'm very happy with what they have. The staff was very helpful. They have a calendar of activities, including taking them to grocery stores, banks, for medications, and doctors. They have bingo, dances, a heated swimming pool, and on Fridays, they have drinks and play bridge.

I liked Lake Forest Park. It was a very pleasant place with pleasant people, but the apartments were inadequately sized. I would have wanted a villa or a cottage. The dining room was very nice-looking. The kitchen cupboards in the apartments were small and didn't have shelves. The living room was small and could only accommodate a very small table for dining. The gallery was sloppy and the lobby should be more welcoming.

I liked Lake Forest Park. The homes were duplexes and very nicely laid-out. They were quite small but very nice. They had a nice pool, people seemed very friendly, and it was a nice facility. Their activities seemed good.

Lake Forest Park was very nice and had a lot of amenities. They had a room where you go to play cards, they had a beautiful swimming pool, and the dining room was very nice. I found it to be very nice. The people who worked there were very nice.

I thought the people were great at Lake Forest Park, but it was too far away. It was a very lovely place. I saw the dining room where the residents were enjoying pizza, and it looked nice; everybody was dressed up and having a good time, so I enjoyed it.

My mother is in independent living at Lake Forest Park. It's a very nice facility, and the people are nice too. It seems like they're going through a lot of employees, but that doesn't seem to affect the operation. I think it can actually get better. It's a clean, beautiful place, and it's a gated community. It has a two-bedroom/two-bath, a cottage with a garage in it. They provide one meal a day for my mother, and they drop that off the house every day. I don't know if that's standard with everybody, but it was part of the deal when they were listing the house. They have a recreation hall with a swimming pool. There are a lot of programs, so they're pretty active. Sometimes a talent comes in there, but theres a lot more that my mother wants to do. There's a bus or van that takes them to their doctors, to Wal-Mart and the bank, and to go food shopping. I know that place, and I know it's good. Our church in Port St. Lucie once a month, on Saturdays, goes up, and they help and they do some activities there. They're actually starting a van to bring the people who want to go to church on a Wednesday night. They're also starting a bible study on Thursday nights, so our church is getting more active with them. It's a beautiful complex with a very nice landscape. When I went there and we saw it, I fell in love with it. There's no reason to go anywhere else. It was great, so we left a check and we ended up getting a corner lot. My mother's totally happy. I would recommend it. I don't think they'll find a better place in the area for the money.

The staff at Lake Forest Park was very nice. In fact, they had called and I had received invitations to some of their little weekend soirées. I have not been able to attend any of them at this time, but it is a very nice facility. However, it would be a major drop in giving up space and everything for me to move in there right now. The rooms were adequate but they were small. I'm a little claustrophobic. One room that I saw had one little window and I will have a problem with that. However, I have had eaten at Lake Forest Park a few times and the food was okay. The independent living was very attractive. The people that I had talked with had been very nice. It had changed ownership two or three times. I don't really have anything negative to say about the place other than the fact that it would be a major change from the lifestyle I'm living now.

I thought Lake Forest Park was wonderful. It was all very, very nice. I like it all. It couldn't have been better. In regards to activities, you name it and they have it.
